We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Housekeeping Checker to join our team at one of Darwin Escapes’ beautiful holiday destinations.

As a Housekeeping Checker, you will play a key role in inspecting accommodation after cleaning, ensuring it meets company standards before guest arrival.
This is a hands‑on role, ideal for someone who is organised, thorough and confident in maintaining quality across all accommodation.
This is a fixed term, full‑time position working variable days, including weekends and bank holidays.

AboutThe Role
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect lodges and accommodation after cleaning to ensure they meet company standards
- Identify and report any cleaning or maintenance issues
- Ensure all areas are clean, tidy and presented to a high standard
- Check that all inventory items are present and in good condition
- Report any damages or missing items promptly
- Support the housekeeping team in maintaining high standards
- Assist with cleaning when required during busy periods
- Ensure all work is carried out in line with health & safety procedures
- Work closely with other departments to ensure accommodation is guest‑ready
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is desirable
- Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good organisational skills
- A proactive and reliable approach to work
- Good communication skills
- A positive attitude and commitment to quality
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
