Accounts Payable Specialist

Professional Search Group OC is partnering with a fast‑paced manufacturing client in Orange County to identify an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong AP experience who thrives in a high‑volume environment and can manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2+ years of recent Accounts Payable experience, preferably within manufacturing, distribution, or similar high‑volume industries.

• Process high‑volume invoices accurately and in a timely manner
• Perform 3‑way matching (purchase orders, invoices, and receipts)
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain AP records and ensure proper documentation
• Assist with weekly check runs, ACH, and wire payments
• Communicate with vendors regarding payment status and account inquiries
• Support month‑end closing activities and AP reporting
• Collaborate with purchasing, receiving, and accounting teams to ensure smooth workflow

• 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience required
• Manufacturing or high‑volume invoice processing experience preferred
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Net Suite, or similar)
• Strong understanding of PO matching and invoice reconciliation
• Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
