About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead an accounting operations and financial reporting functions. This role is responsible for overseeing the month-end close, financial reporting, internal controls, audits, and accounting team while ensuring compliance with GAAP and company policies. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong technical accounting knowledge and a passion for process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations and supervise the accounting team.
• Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Prepare and review financial statements, general ledger activity, and consolidated reports.
• Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Coordinate annual external audits, tax filings, and subsidiary reporting.
• Develop and improve accounting policies, procedures, and workflows.
• Hire, train, mentor, and evaluate accounting staff.
• Prepare financial analyses and management reports as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities.
• Big Four experience preferred; CPA is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, month-end close, and audits.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with ERP/accounting systems (Syteline preferred).
• Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
