Early Learning Educator Assistant
Under the direction of an Early Learning Educator or designee, assist in planning, organizing, and implementing approved developmentally appropriate curriculum for the development of children enrolled in the District's early learning programs; provides a safe and nurturing learning environment conducive to the growth and development of all children; and performs other related work as required. This position may work a schedule consistent with the needs of the District's early learning programs, which may differ from the regular school district calendar and work schedule.
Requirements / Qualifications
Legally required to have completed one of the following:
A) 12 units (24 preferred) of Early Childhood Education (ECE) or Child Development (CD) coursework from an accredited college, university, or community college OR
B) Child Development Permit (any level issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing)
Applicants must show evidence of meeting ONE of the educational requirements in A or B listed above. Evidence can include but is not limited to copy of transcripts, copy of degree, copy of teacher permit or teaching credential.
