Key Responsibilities

* Lead and manage the QA team, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback

* Develop, implement, and maintain QA processes, standards, and best practices

* Create and review test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional and regression testing

* Coordinate and prioritize testing activities based on project timelines and business needs

* Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools

* Work closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure quality requirements are met

* Perform root cause analysis of recurring issues and recommend improvements

* Oversee manual and automated testing efforts

* Ensure timely execution of testing cycles and release validation

* Monitor QA metrics and provide regular status reports to management

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)

* 3-7+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing

* 1-3+ years of leadership or team lead experience preferred

* Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes

* Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Test Rail, QC)

* Familiarity with automation testing tools is a plus (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)

* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
