Cambridge Healthcare Services -

This is an in-office position. No hybrid schedule.

Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred.

UKG Pro experience - HIGHLY PREFERRED POSITION SUMMARY

This position responsible for ensuring that employees are paid timely and accurately.

  • Ensure Bi-weekly payroll is processed accurately with limited issues for the organization
  • Responsible for facilities Payroll to ensure all employees are paid accurately
  • Process new hires, increase and changes in UKG, reports are submitted timely, and audits are completed as requested
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Processing manual checks for distribution
  • Follow and calculate all outside wage garnishments requests or judgments when required on an individual’s paycheck.
  • Maintain personnel database regarding salaries
  • Answer questions regarding paychecks, with holdings tax issues or wage adjustments from employees and help troubleshoot possible issues with pay
  • Manage and Maintain employee’s accruals are accurate
  • Report to department head regarding daily activities and issues
  • Address and resolve employee complaints relating to the payroll system
  • Prepare reports to relevant departments about payroll, and other data as needed
  • Ensure all government reporting requirements are submitted timely
  • Conduct Training new employees
  • Verify and Process W2’s
  • Multi-site management
  • Attention to Detail
  • Works independently and holds others accountable

EDUCATIONAL

REQUIREMENTS Qualifications
  • 2 or more years of experience in payroll preferrable in a long-term care organization
  • Extensive knowledge of federal and state tax regulations
  • Strong knowledge of tax and wage laws
  • Strong computer literacy including Microsoft office and Excel
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business preferred

Must have knowledge of UKG Workforce and E-Time/Kronos
