A production line worker at Ameripec Inc. in Buena Park would primarily be responsible for operating machinery on a bottling line, ensuring the consistent and accurate filling, capping, labeling, and packaging of beverage products like Arizona and Snapple, while adhering to strict quality control standards and safety procedures within a fast-paced production environment; tasks could include loading bottles, monitoring filling levels, inspecting for defects, and operating labeling equipment, with the goal of maintaining production efficiency and meeting daily quotas.

Key responsibilities may include:

* Operating machinery:

Running various automated equipment on the production line, such as bottle unloaders, fillers, cappers, labelers, and case packers, following established operating procedures.

* Quality control:

Inspecting bottles for defects, monitoring fill levels, checking labels for accuracy, and identifying and reporting any quality issues.

* Packaging:

Properly loading and arranging bottles into cases, ensuring correct labeling and coding, and preparing finished products for palletizing.

* Changeovers:

Assisting in the setup and changeover process between different product sizes and packaging formats.

* Maintaining cleanliness:

Keeping the production line area clean and sanitized, following GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines.

* Safety compliance:

Adhering to all safety protocols, wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE), and reporting any safety concerns.

Required skills and abilities:

* Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate machinery

* Attention to detail and quality control standards

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets

* Basic math skills for counting and measuring

* Ability to lift and move heavy objects safely
