Aerospace Soldering Assembler (Direct Hire | 1st Shift | $20–$21/hr)

Bring precision, pride, and craftsmanship to a role that directly supports high-reliability aerospace manufacturing.

As an Aerospace Soldering Assembler, you’ll perform detailed electromechanical assembly and soldering work by following manufacturing specifications and process instructions—building assemblies and wire harnesses, completing visual inspections, and maintaining accurate work-in-progress documentation.

You’ll also contribute to continuous improvement through Quality Improvement, Lean, and 6S initiatives while upholding the highest ethical standards.

Required Skills
  • J-STD-001 soldering experience
  • Ability to assemble electromechanical assemblies and subassemblies to specification
  • Experience building wire harnesses using a wire list and schematic
  • Soldering using solder seal, vapor phase solder, and touch-up irons (per process instructions)
  • Ability to read and follow manufacturing/process specifications, assembly instructions, drawings, and schematics
  • Strong visual inspection capability to confirm compliance to specifications
  • Experience using small hand tools and soldering irons
  • Ability to complete and maintain accurate, compliant paperwork per quality and manufacturing instructions
  • Proven interpersonal skills working with cross-functional teams in a production environment
  • Demonstrated technical literacy, including the ability to analyze and manipulate data supporting manufacturing processes
  • Intermediate-to-advanced written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starter able to organize and manage multiple time-sensitive tasks with limited supervision
  • Basic computer knowledge
Nice to Have Skills
  • Aerospace industry experience
  • Experience participating in Quality Improvement System, Lean, and 6S initiatives
Preferred

Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3+ years of electromechanical assembly experience
  • Solderer certification (STD-001)
Other Requirements
  • Must pass a visual acuity exam prior to start date
  • Commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards and following company ethics and business conduct policies
