Returns Specialist/Clerk

We are seeking a detail-oriented Returns Specialist/Clerk to manage and process returned merchandise efficiently. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, recording, and restocking returned items while ensuring accurate inventory records. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Receive and inspect returned merchandise for defects, damage, or incorrect shipments.
• Process returns according to company policies and issue refunds, exchanges, or replacements as necessary.
• Update inventory records and maintain accurate documentation of returned products.
• Work closely with warehouse, customer service, and quality control teams to resolve return-related issues.
• Communicate with customers regarding return status and resolution.
• Ensure compliance with company return policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized returns area.
• Assist in troubleshooting product issues and reporting trends in returns.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred.
• Previous experience in returns processing, inventory control, or warehouse operations is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic computer skills and experience with inventory management systems.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift and move packages up to [weight limit] lbs.
