Overview
Buffalo Grove, IL firm is looking for a full-time auditor. Duties include performing the entire audit process from setup of the financial information in Pro System FX Engagement to the preparation of the financial statements to be submitted for technical review. Work with clients to obtain financial package and specific documents for review. Conduct preliminary analytical review procedures; inquire of client about significant undetermined variances.
Schedule field audits, perform substantive testing audit procedures at client sites in Cook County, and record results. Prepare draft financial statements and audit reports, perform final analytical review, submit audit for technical review process, and follow up with client as needed. Candidate should have experience with Single Audits and 401k audits. Approximately 10 days per year of travel, mostly for part of the day at client locations in the Chicago area (Cook County).
Qualifications
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting or Accountancy and 3 years of full-time experience as an auditor or accountant preparing financial statements.
