**** Purpose Statement:
**** To provide leadership and direction to the Manufacturing Engineering team(s) from a functional perspective. Manage the Manufacturing Engineering function in line with functional specific strategies, process and systems development, people development, employee relations, plant level metrics.
**** Key Job Accountabilities:
***** Manage and coordinate capital asset forecasts and equipment, including upgrade and replacement plans for production equipment and facilities systems.
* Lead the development of technical compliance, assessment and development practices in accordance with existing SOPs, WIs, SFTs, etc.
* Develop and implement major improvement programs in areas of quality, output, yield, and cost reduction.
* Interface with customers and strategic customer teams to ensure customer needs are understood and met, including customer transitions both into and out of the site.
* Coordinate the implementation of Engineering metrics and standardization in line with SOPs, WIs, and SFTs.
* Responsible to exemplify and hold their team accountable to demonstrating the Plexus Core Values. Leader will focus on evaluating potential, driving succession planning, and ensuring their employees receive the development and coaching required to realize their full potential.

* A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
* Seven (7) years of related experience is required;
Ten (10) years of related experience is preferred.
