Purpose Statement: This role is responsible for continuously improving test performance and equipment, troubleshooting complex issues, supporting equipment installation and changes, and providing technical guidance. Test engineers also play a key role in implementing and validating testing equipment and identifying best practices globally.
Key Job Accountabilities:
- Develop manufacturing solutions or provide services that are high‑quality, cost‑appropriate, and satisfy the customer's requirements.
- Utilize appropriate tools and equipment to perform necessary work, including creation, analysis, and verification.
- Demonstrate a clear, discipline‑specific understanding of the full Plexus manufacturing processes and product requirements & specifications as they apply to the role.
- Execute responsibilities in adherence to Plexus' manufacturing processes.
- Produce comprehensive project documentation based on project needs and in accordance with quality and change management procedures and guidelines.
Education / Experience
Qualifications:
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science is required; a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or higher is preferred.
- Less than one (1) year of related experience is required; one (1) or more years of related experience is preferred.
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience that enable successful performance of key job accountabilities may be considered.

- Intermediate computer skills.
- Intermediate decision‑making, problem‑solving skills.
- Intermediate verbal and written communications skills.
- Strong analytical and statistical analysis skills; statistical process control software skills.
- Proactive and able to work in a cross‑discipline team environment.
- Understanding of structured design.
- Ability to develop good working relationships with team members and customers.
- Lab tool/test/measurement equipment experience preferred.
Compensation and Benefits: Annual salary range: $64,200.00 – $96,200.00. Plexus offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, retirement savings, professional development opportunities, and work‑life balance perks.
