Aviation Electrician O Level

TASK

DESCRIPTION:

This position is located in the KAF O-Level Maintenance Activity at AAJB to provide CMS relating to the installation, operation, maintenance, modification and repair of the F/A-18 weapons systems.

TASK REQUIREMENTS:

* Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and testing the electrical systems of the F/A-18 aircraft. This includes landing gear and related systems, secondary power system, hydraulic system, fuel system, instruments and air data computer system, and integrated flight control system.

* Support OJT and cross training of KAF personnel.

MINIMUM PERSONNEL

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Completed the F/A-18 Fleet Replacement Aviation Maintenance Program Electrician or equivalent course.

* Minimum of four (4) years' experience working on F/A-18 aircraft.

* Proficient in the use of all common and F/A-18 peculiar electrical support equipment.

* Proficient with VIDS/MAFs documentation and all applicable technical publications.

* Kuwaiti, Canadian and Australian F/A-18 Air Force experience is also applicable to these tasks.

6. No security clearance required.

Employment is contingent on (a) your ability to provide appropriate proof of your identity; (b) your references and any background check being satisfactory to the Company; (c) you successfully passing a pre-employment drug test; (d) you successfully gaining an entry visa from the Kuwait Embassy; (e) your ability to get a required clearance by your effective start date, if needed.
