Automation Technician; Floating shifts

Job Summary

Support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth. We are looking to add an Automation Technician in Buffalo Grove, IL. The role involves providing automation engineering services for high‑speed assembly equipment and manufacturing systems.

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance actions on all subsystems and related components.
• Ensure preventative maintenance of robotic and process support equipment is completed on a scheduled basis.
• Collaborate with the automation team in the qualification process of automated systems.
• Record procedures and results, numerical and graphical data, and recommendations for changes in product or method.
• Maintain software, documentation, and equipment to the latest revision or operational specifications.
• Properly use power tools and measuring equipment.
• Maintain a strong awareness of safety.

• Typically requires an Associate’s degree, military training, equivalent vocational training, or equivalent experience.
• Typically requires 2+ years of related experience.
• Prior experience in an equipment maintenance position.
• Knowledge of pneumatic systems.
• Experience with AW20 systems.
