Base Pay Range$/yr - $/yr
Schedule: Monday-Friday - 8 am-5 pm (on-site)
Salary: $150-$200k + Bonus
We are seeking an experienced Controller to oversee accounting operations and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, this role plays a key part in driving operational efficiency and providing financial and operational performance insights to senior management. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional with strong technical accounting skills, proactive problem‑solving abilities, and a desire to grow within a dynamic, evolving organization.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in high-volume manufacturing environments, with at least 10 years in a leadership role. Strong communication skills and advanced financial analysis expertise are essential.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, customer rebates, and fixed assets.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Develop and enforce internal controls over company assets, policies, procedures, and workflows.
- Establish financial and operational benchmarks, budgets, program/project monitoring, and reporting standards.
- Provide operational support, including labor reporting, inventory management, and capital equipment utilization tracking.
- Manage month‑end and year‑end closing processes, including reconciliations.
- Coordinate and assist with external audits and tax filings.
- Assist in forecasting, variance analysis, and performance reporting.
- Collaborate with IT to implement and enhance accounting, operations, and sales systems and processes.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting managers, supervisors, and administrative staff.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business; CPA preferred.
- 15+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 10 years of supervisory responsibility.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Extensive experience in manufacturing environments.
- Proficiency with Tier 1 ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and process automation tools; advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
