As we continue to expand our collaboration and modern workplace offerings, we are seeking an experienced Collaboration Account Executive to serve as a strategic and technical lead across assigned accounts.
RoleSummary
The Collaboration Account Executive is a senior, consultative overlay role responsible for shaping collaboration and unified communications strategy across designated accounts. This individual serves as the technical and strategic lead for collaboration initiatives, partnering closely with core Account Executives, Solution Architects, delivery teams, and technology partners to drive complex deal strategy and solution alignment.
This role does not carry day-to-day account ownership, but instead focuses on influencing solution design, guiding architectural decisions, and supporting successful outcomes across collaboration, UCaaS, CCaaS, contact center, and AV initiatives. The ideal candidate blends deep technical expertise with strong sales acumen and is comfortable engaging both technical stakeholders and executive decision-makers.
Key Responsibilities- Own collaboration strategy and solution direction across assigned customer accounts
- Act as a technical and strategic overlay in support of Account Executives throughout complex sales cycles
- Lead discovery sessions to uncover customer needs and align collaboration, unified communications, contact center, and AV solutions
- Partner with Solution Architects and delivery teams to ensure cohesive, scalable solution design
- Influence vendor selection, architecture decisions, and overall deal structure
- Serve as a trusted advisor and escalation point for collaboration initiatives
- Orchestrate internal teams and external partners to deliver integrated, outcome-focused solutions
- Support pipeline development, deal strategy, and forecasting efforts related to collaboration opportunities
- 7+ years of experience in collaboration, UCaaS, CCaaS, contact center, or modern workplace technologies
- Strong technical understanding of collaboration platforms, architectures, and deployment models
- Proven ability to influence and close complex, multi-stakeholder opportunities
- Demonstrated success partnering with sales, technical, and delivery teams in a consultative capacity
- Experience working within a partner, integrator, or reseller environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage at both technical and executive levels
