Executive Director, Client Experience Engineering
Oversees the myPBM platform in Pharmacy Services Segment at CVS Health. Works with business stakeholders, technology teams, vendors, and external partners to align solutions with strategic goals. Leads a cross‑functional team of technology professionals supporting portfolio assets and large data workloads on Angular, Java, Azure, and Google Cloud. Utilizes cloud technologies to develop and implement modern data domain solutions, analyze use cases, create innovative solutions, mentor talent, and collaborate with stakeholders to translate business processes into implementation plans.
ResponsibilitiesAssess issue risks and develop mitigation strategies; build and execute platform strategy to be best‑in‑class PBM solution; provide strategic directions for modernization vision and single sources of truth; innovate by adopting AI; focus on cost‑of‑change reduction, automation, speed to market, scalability, and serviceability; establish application development standards; manage delivery quality, design, timeliness, budget, OKRs, KPIs; oversee IT budget and vendors; ensure compliance with policies, standards, regulations;
promote culture of innovation; inspire talent development; address organic growth, system performance, and end‑of‑life software/hardware; maintain regulatory compliance.
- 15+ years in IT, including 4+ years at Director+ level, leading teams in application/system architecture & development on Cloud technologies.
- 10+ years managing client‑facing systems in development, operational, and production support, cross‑functional resolution, executive reporting, and SLA adherence.
- Skilled at managing cross‑functional issues and leading diverse teams without direct authority.
- 5+ years leading and scaling support operations.
- Experience in AI technologies.
- Proficient in cloud engineering, designing scalable and secure infrastructure.
- Strategic planning for enterprise applications focused on growth, performance tuning, and optimization.
- Experience analyzing enterprise platforms to identify deficiencies and recommend improvements.
- Experience in budgets, strategic planning, process enhancement, technical leadership, HR management, and staff development.
- Experience in modern full‑stack development, API & Cloud‑first technology implementations.
- Strong knowledge of IT vendor management and IT service management methodologies.
- Demonstrated leadership through transformation initiatives and product‑led transformation.
- Strong leadership capabilities with formal training, coaching, mentoring, and diverse assignments.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
