Overview

Join Siemens as a Manufacturing Engineer Project Lead and play a key role in new product introductions, process optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, lead manufacturing innovation, and ensure the highest level of product quality.

Responsibilities
  • Optimize manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost‑effectiveness using Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and automation.
  • Lead the transition of new products from design to production, working closely with design, R&D, and supply chain teams.
  • Develop and implement quality control and assurance measures to maintain high product standards.
  • Leverage advanced manufacturing technologies such as robotics, 3D printing, and Industry 4.0 concepts to improve processes.
  • Drive cost reduction strategies including material optimization, labor efficiency, and waste reduction.
  • Manage complex manufacturing projects from concept to completion and lead or contribute to cross‑functional teams.
  • Ensure compliance with industry and government regulations, especially in highly regulated industries such as aerospace, healthcare, and automotive.
  • Collaborate with supply chain and logistics teams to streamline material and component flow throughout production.
  • Ensure manufacturing processes adhere to safety and sustainability standards.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior engineers and production staff.
  • Demonstrate strong communication, leadership, teamwork, and problem‑solving skills.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a high‑level manufacturing engineering role.
  • In‑depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality management, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Proficiency in CAD and CAM software.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and manufacturing software.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification (preferred).
