Material Handler

Overview

Position Overview- 2nd shift!

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Material Handler / Production Support Associate to provide material handling support across warehouse, quality, and production operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring timely movement, accuracy, and safe handling of materials throughout the facility.

• Pick up, move, and stack boxes weighing up to 55 pounds (single and assisted lifting)
• Load boxes onto carts and pallets
• Accurately read, count, and track materials and finished products
• Match product numbers using a scanner and verify quantities completed
• Use a scanner and calculator to support inventory and production accuracy
• Safely move materials using pallet trucks and other material-handling equipment
• Support warehouse, quality, and production teams to ensure on-time receipt and delivery of materials
• Identify and report basic inventory discrepancies
• Follow established material handling procedures, pick lists, and safety protocols
• Walk throughout the facility, go up and down stairs, and remain on feet for the duration of the shift (with scheduled breaks and lunch)
• Perform additional duties as assigned by a supervisor

• Ability to lift up to 55 pounds (with assistance when needed)
• Standing and walking for extended periods
• Frequent bending, reaching, and stair climbing

• Minimum of 6 months warehouse picking or material handling experience
• Production, picking, shipping, or warehouse experience preferred
• Forklift experience is not required
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Basic math skills and comfort using scanners

• Safety shoes are required; reimbursement available up to $150 with receipt after assignment begins
• Timekeeping is completed through an electronic system; no manual time entry required
