Automation Technician III

Shift: 12-hour shifts (6:00 AM–6:00 PM Days / 6:00 PM–6:00 AM Nights), 2-2-3 schedule

Pay Range: $28/hr – $30/hr (10% shift differential for nights)

We are seeking an experienced Automation Technician to support high-speed assembly equipment and manufacturing systems in a production environment. This role focuses on equipment maintenance, automation system support, and ensuring reliable operation of robotic and process support equipment in a safety-focused, fast-paced setting.

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on automation equipment, subsystems, and related components
• Ensure robotic and process support equipment receive routine preventative maintenance
• Collaborate with the automation team during qualification and validation of automated systems
• Record procedures, test results, data, and recommendations for changes in products or processes
• Maintain software, documentation, and equipment to current operational and revision standards
  
  Use power tools and measuring equipment safely and properly
• Support troubleshooting and maintenance of high-speed assembly and manufacturing systems
• Follow and promote strong safety practices at all times

• Associate’s degree, military training, vocational training, or equivalent hands-on experience
• Minimum of 2+ years of related experience in automation or equipment maintenance
• Prior experience in an equipment maintenance or manufacturing support role
• Knowledge of pneumatic systems
• Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts on a 2-2-3 schedule
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Ability to document work, follow procedures, and support continuous improvement efforts
