Production Operator - 1st Shift

Job Overview

Siemens is seeking Production Operators to join our Smart Buildings team in Buffalo Grove, IL. The role focuses on manufacturing products using tools, machinery, and equipment, ensuring quality and process compliance.

6:00 am to 2:30 pm

$19.00 per hour

• Ability to sit, stand, bend, push, pull, and perform required movements.
• Ability to comprehend written and spoken English.
• Ability to perform adjustments and maintain careful assembly of products.
• High concentration to ensure accurate work.
• Teamwork skills.
• Can lift and transfer 25 lbs.
• Legally authorized for employment in the U.S. without need for future employer sponsorship.

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Manufacture products using visual aids, written and verbal instructions, and procedures.
• Use hand, pneumatic, and power tools, small to large machinery, material handling equipment, and computer‑run equipment.
• Move parts and materials to maintain orderly material flow.
• Rotate between operations within a work cell and between cells and departments; prepare work cell and/or department records.
• Notify personnel if process/method is out of compliance.
• Perform simple to complex setup and adjustments to products, equipment, and processes.
