• Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• Two to five years of experience with powder‑coat painting.
• Ability to read technical drawings and bills of materials.
• Leadership and problem‑solving skills.

• Perform daily process checks (oven temperature, cleaning chemistry, color match, mic thickness, scratch tests).
• Verify first‑piece run conformance.
• Follow standard work instructions, use proper PPE and understand chemical hazards.
• Train and coach teammates on part hold, masking, spray‑gun setup, and painting techniques.
• Set ovens and prepare cleaning solutions; conduct quality checks.
• Fill and audit move tickets; order paint and supplies; monitor inventory.
• Report quality or personnel issues to Lead Painter or management.
• Maintain Kanban boards, review schedules, and set priorities based on due dates.
• Increase shop efficiency and productivity by using equipment and resources effectively.
• Read and interpret blueprints, BOMs, routers, and other technical documents.

Other duties outside the primary trade may be required, with adequate training provided.
