Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize injection molding or assembly automation systems, including robots and auxiliary equipment, to ensure reliable production in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Troubleshoot automation equipment, robots, PLCs, HMIs, sensors, conveyors, vision systems, and electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical issues.
- Program and optimize robots (Sepro, Fanuc, Yushin, Wittmann) for part handling, degating, and packaging.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, sensor calibration, component replacement, and maintain robot program backups.
- Support mold trials, new product launches, cycle time improvements, and lean/Kaizen initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with safety, ISO, FDA, and GMP standards.
- High School Diploma/GED required;
Mechatronics, Robotics, or Industrial Automation certification/degree preferred. - 2–5 years of injection molding or assembly automation experience.
- Hands‑on robot programming and troubleshooting experience.
- Knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, industrial sensors, EOAT, and ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
