Role snapshot
We’re hiring Electromechanical Production Technicians for our Buffalo Grove, IL location. This is a 2nd shift position, working 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm, at an hourly rate of $20.21.A day in the life
Your shift starts with a production huddle—targets set, priorities clear. You rotate through workstations, assemble precision components using hand and power tools, and run computer-controlled equipment. Materials move smoothly because you help keep the flow organized. You record outputs and quality checks, and if something looks off, you raise your hand, troubleshoot, and help your team keep everything on track. By shift end, your cell is clean, tools are set for the next run, and you’ve helped build reliable products that power smarter buildings.
What you’ll do Assemble and adjust products to documented specifications using visual aids, written instructions, and verbal guidance.
Operate hand, pneumatic, and power tools; run small and large production equipment, material handling devices, and computer-controlled machinery.
Move components and materials to maintain steady production flow and meet schedule commitments.
Rotate across stations, cells, and departments to support changing operational needs.
Complete required production, quality, and departmental documentation accurately and on time.
Identify and report equipment, process, or product quality issues promptly.
Set up, adjust, and change over equipment and processes following established procedures.
Uphold a safe, orderly, team-focused work environment while meeting quality and productivity targets.
What you bring
Comfort with the physical aspects of manufacturing: standing, sitting, bending, pushing, pulling, and related movements throughout the shift.
Ability to interpret and follow English-language work instructions, safety procedures, and equipment documentation.
Attention to detail to meet quality standards in assembly and adjustments.
Capability to lift, carry, and handle up to 25 pounds.
Strong communication and collaboration skills; prior manufacturing experience and basic computer proficiency are a plus.
Preferred:
High School Diploma or GED.Core strengths

Experience in a production environment
Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation
Tools and tech you’ll use Power tools, pneumatic tools, production equipment, material handling devices, and computer-controlled machinery
