Job Summary

We are seeking a Molding / Assembly Automation Technician with experience in automation, robotics, and injection molding or assembly equipment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, programming, and optimizing automated manufacturing systems to ensure maximum equipment uptime and production efficiency.

Required Skills
  • High School Diploma/GED (Technical certification or Associate's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, or Industrial Automation preferred).
  • 2–5 years of experience in Injection Molding or Assembly Automation.
  • Hands‑on experience with robot programming and troubleshooting (Fanuc, Sepro, Yushin, Wittmann, or similar).
  • Strong knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, industrial sensors, conveyors, and vision systems.
  • Experience troubleshooting electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics.
  • Knowledge of EOAT (End‑of‑Arm Tooling) design and maintenance.
  • Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance of automation equipment.
  • Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and maintain molding/assembly automation systems, robots, conveyors, sensors, and vision systems.
  • Program and optimize robots for part handling, packaging, and cycle time improvements.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automation equipment.
  • Support mold trials, new product launches, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain robot programs, equipment documentation, and maintenance records.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, ISO, FDA, and GMP requirements.
  • Work closely with Engineering and Maintenance teams to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
