Must be able to Set-Up and operate Robotic Welders. Produces welded parts by setting up and operating Robotic Welding machines; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies.
What do we want to know about you?- Associate degree (A.
A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or five (5)+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires basic understanding of blueprint reading leadership capability and ability to solve problems.
- Maintains specifications by observing weld location and quality; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.
- Maintains equipment by completing the daily preventive maintenance requirements and sets-up aforementioned machines by installing weld fixtures and calling up appropriate program to weld the product in schedule.
- Plans next job by referring to daily schedule. Using blueprints to verify work pieces and recording weld set-up data.
- Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample work pieces; adhering to international standards. Able to read calipers.
- Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
- Documents actions by completing production and quality logs and updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to reach hands and arms and talk or hear.
- The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
You may also be asked to perform other duties outside of your function or trade, for which adequate training will be provided if necessary.
