  • Cultivate and maintain senior-level relationships with journalists and food critics across traditional and non-traditional media channels.
  • Set standards for and oversee in-store media filming, ensuring coverage serves the company's best interest while supporting store teams in managing media so it doesn't disrupt guests, team members, or business operations.

  • Lead philanthropic efforts and represent the company's commitment to the community, including managing the relationship with Lou Malnati's annual Cancer Research Benefit.

  • Partner with social media monitoring agency for emerging issues, ensuring prompt and appropriate response.
Social Media Partnership
  • Partner with the company's Social Media Manager to develop engaging, compelling content that enhances Lou Malnati's presence across social and media platforms, ensuring PR and social strategies are fully aligned.
  • Search, connect with, and work with social media influencers to get earned mentions, promoting the awareness and trial of the brand.
  • Oversee the coordination and management of press events, grand openings, promotional activities, employee events, community events, and the Lou Malnati's annual Cancer Research Benefit.

  • Excellent communication and writing skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives.
  • Strong media relations skills and established, senior-level contacts with relevant journalists.
  • Deep understanding of social media platforms and strategies for engagement.
  • Crisis communication expertise and demonstrated ability to lead through sensitive situations.
