Advanced Practice Provider - Care

Hourly Pay Range: $56.25 - $72.12. The rate is based on candidate expertise, years of experience, and other factors. Endeavor Health is recruiting Immediate Care nurse practitioners and physician assistants to join our team. The role is fast‑paced, team‑based, and allows practice at the top of licensure. • Under the direction of collaborating physicians, provide care to patients.
• Obtain detailed history and perform physical examinations, order imaging, lab tests, and diagnostic procedures, and interpret results.
• Instruct patients on prescribed therapeutic regimens and maintain accurate records, including progress notes on status, treatments, and procedures.
• Follow patients through their immediate‑care treatment course, collaborating with physicians and the healthcare team to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Prescribe pharmacologic and non‑pharmacologic therapies as appropriate, demonstrating evidence‑based practice.
• Participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of standards of practice and service line goals.
• Assess learning needs of patients and families, employing strategies, interventions, and teaching to promote, maintain, and improve health.
• Work autonomously and in interdisciplinary teams, positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high‑quality patient experiences.
• Support the strategic plan of the organization and adhere to all Endeavor Health policies and procedures.

• Master’s degree in nursing (MSN or MS) or NCCPA certified PA.
• Minimum 2 years Emergency Department or ICU experience as an Advanced Practice Nurse or PA to be considered.
• APRNs:
  Current Illinois Registered Nurse license, Illinois Advanced Practice Nurse license, Illinois controlled substance license, and DEA certification.
• Physician Assistants: IL PA license, IL controlled substance license, and DEA certification.
• Current CPR certification issued by either the American Heart Association or Red Cross (must have an in‑person component).

• EMR: EPIC.
• Full time: 40 or 36 hours per week depending on preference.
• Hours:
  
  Monday – Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.; weekend/holiday rotation between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
• Rotating shifts across multiple locations: 15 S McHenry Road, Buffalo Grove; 199 W Rand Road, Mt Prospect; 21481 N Rand Rd, Kildeer; and 519 S Roselle Rd, Schaumburg.
• Required travel between sites.
