Hourly Pay Range
$56.25 – $72.12 – The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
Position OverviewEndeavor Health is actively recruiting experienced Immediate Care nurse practitioners and physician assistants to join our team. Expect a fast‑paced environment where you will provide care in a team‑based approach while working at the top of your license. Job DescriptionUnder the direction of collaborating physicians, you will provide care to patients. This includes obtaining detailed history, performing physical examinations, ordering imaging, lab tests, and diagnostic procedures, and interpreting results. You will instruct patients on prescribed therapeutic regimens, maintain records, and write progress notes. You will follow patients through their course of treatment in the immediate care setting, collaborate with physicians and the health care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes, prescribe pharmacologic and non‑pharmacologic therapies as appropriate, and demonstrate evidence‑based practice.
You will also participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of standards of practice, assess learning needs of patients and families, employ strategies and interventions to promote health, work autonomously and in interdisciplinary teams, positively contribute to safety outcomes, and promote high‑quality patient experiences. You will participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of service line goals, support the strategic plan of the organization, and adhere to all Endeavor Health policies and procedures.
Highlights
- Electronic Medical Record: EPIC
- Full Time: 40 or 36 hours per week, depending on preference
- Hours:
Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.;
Weekend/Holiday Rotation 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. - Locations and Required Travel:
Rotating shifts between 15 S McHenry Road (Buffalo Grove), 199 W Rand Road (Mount Prospect), 21481 N Rand Rd (Kildeer), and 519 S Roselle Rd (Schaumburg)
- Master’s degree in nursing (MSN or MS) or NCCPA certified PA.
- Minimum 2 years Emergency Department or ICU experience as an Advanced Practice Nurse or PA required to be considered for the position.
- APRNs:
Current Illinois Registered Nurse license and current Illinois Advanced Practice Nurse license, Illinois controlled substance license and DEA certification. - Physician Assistants: IL PA license, IL controlled substance license, and DEA certification.
- Current CPR Certification issued by either the American Heart Association or Red Cross (must have an in‑person component).
