LHH is recruiting ASAP for a proactive, people‑oriented Sales Marketing Coordinator for one of our clients in the consumer product manufacturing sector who thrives at the intersection of sales, marketing, and operations. This role plays a critical part in driving sales success by keeping projects on track, customer data organized, and communication flowing seamlessly.

Location: Hybrid in Buffalo Grove, IL
Compensation: $60K-$72K (based on experience)

What We’re Looking For- Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales support, project coordination, marketing, or a related role ideally in consumer products
- Strong project management skills ( experience is a huge plus)
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
- Confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills
- Highly organized, detail‑driven, and process‑focused
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred
- Act as the project lead for key customer meetings, product line reviews, and proposals
- Keep sales initiatives moving by managing timelines, deliverables, and workflows in
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to bring ideas to life
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer and retail vendor portals
- Own customer documentation including vendor forms, product setups, submissions, and asset uploads
- Ensure a polished, professional experience for customers at every touchpoint
- Help develop and manage a structured CRM process within the ERP system
- Track customer communications and sales leads
- Maintain buyer lists, segment customer channels, and support marketing email campaigns
- Support weekly sales meetings by creating agendas, capturing notes, and tracking action items
- Maintain a master sales calendar and ensure stays up to date
- Participate in in‑person sales calls and customer meetings as needed
- Attend up to four trade shows per year (3–5 days each)
- Coordinate event logistics, promotions, lead tracking, and post‑show follow‑up to maximize ROI
- Act as a friendly, reliable point of contact for customers during events
- Assist senior sales leadership with scheduling and communications as needed
