Service Technician (Electrical, Mechanical)
Travel: 50% mainly across US and Canada and occasionally Mexico.
We are looking for someone willing to travel, with knowledge in electronics, mechanics, and automation systems. The technician must have a strong work ethic, teamwork and pro‑active attitude, and will be in direct contact with customers. A training period will be held first in-house where the technician will receive basic knowledge on the equipment, followed by field training assisting a senior technician to learn from experience in a real context.
After that period the technician will be in charge of the installation and maintenance of the equipment and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Complete preventive and curative maintenance.
- Installation and training of operators and maintenance staff.
- Ensure safety practices are respected.
- Reporting and addressing open points.
- Follow up on customer needs.
- Test and repair defective parts.
- Prepare visits, including kitting, and coordinate service with customers.
- Process paperwork.
- Support continuous improvement activities.
The ideal candidate must be enthusiastic, energetic, self‑motivated, a team player with good communication skills and a high level of attention to detail.
