Job Overview
Set up, operated, and maintained PLC-based automated production lines, ensuring smooth integration of equipment into manufacturing processes, performing troubleshooting and preventive maintenance to sustain production efficiency.
Responsibilities- Configured, troubleshot, and repaired HMIs by applying software upgrades, hardware replacements, and functional verifications, maintaining documentation of changes to meet compliance and traceability standards.
- Performed troubleshooting and repair of servo motors and drives, identifying faulty devices using electrical schematics and technical manuals, replacing components, and restoring precision performance on production lines.
- Managed troubleshooting and maintenance of motion control systems and VFDs, interpreting mechanical diagrams and automated system drawings, and applying corrective actions to ensure safety and operational continuity.
- Investigated and resolved communication issues in automated equipment, performing root‑cause analysis, repairing electrical controls, and documenting corrective actions to prevent recurrence and reduce downtime.
- Troubleshot and repaired mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, utilizing power tools and measuring equipment, adhering to electrical safety standards, ensuring equipment reliability across production operations.
- Read and interpreted technical manuals, electrical schematics, mechanical diagrams, and automated system drawings to identify critical devices and components, plan corrective actions, and support accurate equipment repairs and replacements.
- Planned and executed qualification processes (IQ/OQ/PQ) for new equipment and automated systems, preparing validation documentation, conducting safety checks, and ensuring compliance with FDA and ISO 13485 requirements.
- Developed and wrote test procedures for hardware and software verification, executed functional tests, and documented results for audits, ensuring full traceability and adherence to regulatory frameworks.
- Performed hardware and software upgrades on PLCs and HMIs using RS Logix and Factory Talk, developed processes for improved performance, and maintained documentation of all modifications.
- Identified, monitored, and maintained critical devices within automated systems, establishing preventive maintenance schedules, applying electrical safety protocols, and extending equipment lifecycle through systematic upkeep.
