Our client, a leader in HVAC technology and testing solutions, is seeking a dedicated Electro Mechanical Technician to join their team. As an Electro Mechanical Technician, you will be an integral part of the testing and maintenance department supporting the development and testing of HVAC components and systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a hands-on approach to technical challenges, which will align successfully in the organization.

Buffalo Grove, IL

Pay Range: $30

Shift: 8:00 am to 4:00 pm

What's the Job?

• Assist in building and testing prototypes of HVAC devices and subcomponents
• Perform electrical and mechanical tests, record data, and generate detailed test reports
• Maintain preventative maintenance plans for lab equipment and troubleshoot malfunctions
• Design, update, and troubleshoot bespoke test infrastructure and fixtures
• Ensure safety standards are followed and conduct safety inspections regularly

What's Needed?

• Hands-on experience with mechanical and electrical testing tools
• Ability to perform detailed measurements and observations accurately
• Basic computer skills including data entry, word processing, and email communication
• Knowledge of lab safety procedures and equipment handling
• Experience assisting engineers with testing and troubleshooting tasks
