Pay

Range & Compensation Package

Compensation: $25–$40/hour, based on industry experience, plus bonus opportunity.

Job Overview

We are looking for a technician who will travel 50% mainly across the US and Canada, with occasional travel to Mexico. The role requires knowledge in electronics, mechanics, and automation systems. A strong work ethic, teamwork, and a proactive attitude are essential. The technician will train in‑house, then perform field installation and maintenance, and ultimately be in charge of the installation and maintenance of marker equipment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities In the field duties
  • Complete preventive and curative maintenance.
  • Installation and training of operator and maintenance staff.
  • Ensure safety practices are respected.
  • Reporting and addressing open points.
In‑house duties
  • Follow up on customer needs.
  • Test and repair defective parts.
  • Prepare visits including kitting and coordinate service with customers.
  • Process paperwork.
  • Support continuous improvement activities.

The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, energetic, a self‑motivated team player with good communication skills and a high level of attention to detail.

Education
  • High School Diploma;
    Associate's degree (a plus), in electronics or related experience required.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Some experience with training, installing, and repairing various models of industrial micro‑processor‑controlled equipment.
  • Experience working with ERP and CRM systems preferred.
  • Customer Service experience preferred.
Required Skills
  • Bilingual (Spanish), preferred.
  • MS Office.
  • General personal computer knowledge.
  • Must be able to read and comprehend electrical schematics and drawings.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Must have a strong electro‑mechanical aptitude.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail when inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing units to ensure the work is accurate and complete.
  • Good manual dexterity, fine motor skills, vision, and hearing.
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds waist high alone and to handle up to 100 pounds with assistance.
  • Prolonged standing, sitting, stooping, and bending.
  • Frequent travel required.
  • Valid passport.
