Cool Sys is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Tech 3 to service, troubleshoot, and repair complex commercial and industrial HVAC-R systems. In this field-based role, you'll perform advanced diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs while prioritizing safety, quality, and energy efficiency. You'll interact directly with customers, document work performed, and support junior technicians. Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced diagnostics, repair, and maintenance on commercial and industrial HVAC-R systems
  • Respond to service calls, troubleshoot issues, and complete necessary repairs safely and efficiently
  • Conduct preventive maintenance to maximize system reliability and energy efficiency
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals
  • Document service activities, parts used, and recommendations in work orders and service reports
  • Communicate effectively with customers on findings, repair options, and system status
  • Support and mentor junior technicians in field best practices and safety procedures
  • Ensure compliance with Cool
  • Sys safety standards, OSHA regulations, and industry codes
  • Operate and maintain HVAC tools, gauges, and test equipment in good working order
  • Collaborate with dispatch, project managers, and team members to meet service deadlines
