ResponsibilitiesWe currently have a great opportunity available for a Distribution Associate II. This advanced position involves responsibilities in a variety of roles within the Distribution Center, including inbound receiving, inventory control, production support, put‑away, storing, cycle counting, packing and shipping of materials and/or finished goods. The associate must ensure the cleanliness of the warehouse, maintain a safety‑oriented culture, and contribute to continuous improvement through recommendations and implementation of approved projects.
- Load and unload all inbound and outbound trailers, trucks, and vans, ensuring all safety devices are utilized and distribution centre procedures are followed. Verify receipts against delivery manifests and/or purchase orders and learn to operate computer terminals in an automatic receiving and shipping environment.
- Stock merchandise in proper locations according to Company practice, operating manual or powered hand trucks and industrial lift trucks as required.
- Fill customer orders from computer‑generated picking documents, pack a variety of products in standard containers, and prepare items according to customer packaging, labeling and shipping requirements.
- Operate all material handling equipment—including vertical baler, pallet jack, two‑wheel cart, bar‑code scanners, conveyor, air machine, sealed air, and shipping manifest systems—while monitoring inventory levels and replenishing stock as needed.
- Work at multiple stations, rotating to various work centers or departments based on business needs, and master all Level 2 functions before becoming eligible for Level
3. Certification on all material handling equipment, barcode scanners, and printers is required.
- Interface with Sysmex internal customers and external customers to identify and develop continuous improvement opportunities, recommending enhancements in operating methods, procedures, layout, workflow, costs, and customer service.
- Multi‑task proactively and re‑prioritize daily to accommodate changing business requirements, following guidelines from the Distribution Management Team and participating in all continuous improvement projects and cost‑saving measures.
- Follow distribution procedures in accordance with cGXP, FDA, OSHA, IATA, DOT, TSA, and applicable regulatory requirements, ensuring product documentation, quality standards, specifications, SOPs, and GMP are met.
- Assist the distribution team in keeping the department audit‑ready at all times, and maintain the quality and integrity of personal time records while reducing expenses for material handling equipment, building maintenance, and product.
- Follow all safety standards and training, maintain a clean and safe building, protect inventories and equipment against theft, fire, and other hazards, and perform housekeeping duties and aisle maintenance.
- Provide good customer service to all departments through timely movement of goods, follow‑up on issues and concerns of internal and external customers, and promotion of a customer‑centric environment.

Regular exposures to risk that may require special training and precautions.
Physical DemandsHeavy physical activity. Routine handling of objects more than 50 pounds. May require periods of substantial discomfort due to excessive noise, dust, and/or other conditions.
Qualifications- High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
- At least 2 years of prior distribution or warehouse experience, including use of barcode scanners, printers, etc.
