As an Automotive Technician at Ryan Auto Mall, you will be an integral part of our service team, dedicated to delivering exceptional results and upholding the trust our customers place in us.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine maintenance and performance checks to ensure vehicles run smoothly.
  • Diagnose malfunctions in vehicles using specialized diagnostic tools.
  • Repair or replace worn out parts to prevent future breakdowns and extend vehicle life.
  • Perform thorough inspections and safety checks to adhere to industry standards and regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and service advisors, providing comprehensive reports on vehicle status and work performed.
  • Stay updated on the latest industry technology and techniques for vehicle repair and maintenance.
  • Manage inventory of tools and supplies, ensuring availability of necessary items for all jobs and maintaining order in the service area.

  • Adhere to environmental laws and regulations related to disposal and recycling of automotive waste and chemicals.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as an Automotive Technician with a track record of high-quality repairs and maintenance work.
  • In-depth knowledge of automotive systems and components essential for diagnostic and repair procedures.
  • High proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment used in the automotive repair industry.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose issues accurately and propose relevant solutions.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills to clearly articulate vehicle issues and needed repairs to non-technical personnel.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with automotive technology advances.
  • Technical certification or degree in Automotive Technology or a related field is highly preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
  • Physical ability to perform job tasks which include standing for long periods, lifting heavy objects, and performing detailed manual dexterity tasks.
