RESPONSIBILITIES:

* The Middle School Track Coach works with students in grades 68 to teach the fundamentals of track and field while creating a positive, supportive experience for all athletes. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with kids, has a basic understanding of track and field events, and can teach skills in a clear, encouraging way. Strong organization, clear communication, and the ability to manage groups of middle school students are essential.

A teaching license is not requiredjust a commitment to helping kids learn, grow, and enjoy being part of a team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

* We are looking for a coach who has playing experience and an understanding of the game/sport. Most importantly, the ideal candidate will create a fun and positive team environment where kids enjoy coming to practice and games. This coach should be able to teach not only athletic skills, but also life lessons like teamwork, effort, and resilience. A passion for working with young athletes and helping them grow both on and off the field/court is essential.

* Coaching license or coaching minor preferred, not required.

* Coaching experience in the sport.
