Culinary Assistant Flex

Overview

Park View, a Cassia community, is hiring a self-motivated, energetic Flex Culinary Assistant to join our team in Buffalo, MN. This is a great opportunity for those seeking entry-level work or wanting to learn and grow in a healthcare setting. No experience is needed as we provide training. In addition to generous benefits, we are offering a $1,000 bonus. This position supports coverage for employees on leave, scheduled vacations, or other open shifts and involves working Day and Evening shifts at both our Assisted Living (Park Terrace) and Skilled Nursing Facility (Park View).

You may also cover Prep Cooks as needed.

Location: 200 Park Ln, Buffalo, MN 55313

Position Type: Full-Time, Flex, benefits-eligible position with a varying schedule

Shifts Available (Including Every Other Weekend):

• Days 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• Evenings 11:30 AM – 8:00 PM
• Availability to work both shifts is required

Wage Range: $18.78 to $21 per hour, depending on experience

Shift Differential: $2 per hour

Bonus: $1,000

• Rotate through stations: food prep, serving, dishwashing, and kitchen cleaning
• Provide excellent customer service to residents, staff, and families
• Work within the department to provide quality and nutritious meals and service to residents
• Assist with food preparation and serving meals to residents
• Help maintain a clean and sanitary dietary department
• Wash dishes and clean the kitchen and dining rooms
• Assist residents, employees, and guests with a broad range of dietary needs

• Previous restaurant or healthcare experience preferred but not required; training provided
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
• Excellent customer service and hospitality skills
