Travel RN - ICU

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU position in Minnesota, requiring a MN RN license and at least one year of specialty experience.

Job Details

• Position is in the ICU and Special Care Unit, with floating to Med Surg as needed,

• Work may be scheduled on day, evening, or night shifts; all shifts are 8 hours,

• Every other weekend coverage is required,

• Schedules may vary based on department needs and shift openings,

• Travelers may float within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearby,

• Epic/Excellian EMR is used; experience may be required for some positions,

Job Requirements

• Active MN RN license or proof of pending licensure at time of consideration,

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required,

• Minimum one year of ICU or specialty experience required,

• PALS certification preferred,

• IV start skills preferred,

• At least one supervisor reference required for consideration,

• Epic/Excellian EMR experience required for some positions,

• Candidates must live at least 100 miles from the facility,

• Returning staff must have a 3-month gap from last perm shift,

Additional Information

• Role includes care for both ICU and Med Surg patients depending on facility needs,

• Position accepts first-time travelers,

• Scrub or dress code requirements will be provided by the facility,

• Requested time off ideally should not exceed 5 days during assignment,

• Completion of pre-start modules is required prior to beginning the assignment,
