School Occupational Therapist - Buffalo, Minnesota

This contract position is ideal for a dedicated professional seeking a rewarding opportunity to provide essential support to students and collaborate with educational teams. The assignment runs from September 1, 2026, through June 3, 2027, with a consistent Monday through Friday schedule totaling 37.5 hours per week.

• Valid Occupational Therapist license (OTR/L) in the state or eligibility for licensure
• School-based OT experience preferred, especially with elementary and early childhood populations
• Strong understanding of IEP development, documentation, and case management
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with teachers, staff, and families
• Ability to assess, develop, and implement individual and group therapy interventions
• Passion for supporting diverse learners and fostering independence

• Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments for students in elementary and early childhood programs
• Develop individualized treatment plans and goals aligned with student needs and IEPs
• Deliver direct and consultative OT services within classroom and other school settings
• Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and families to support student achievement
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes as required by school policies and regulatory standards
• Participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and staff development activities

Compensation for this position ranges from $33.78 to $53.78.
