1+ year orthopedic surgery experience preferred

Pay & Benefits:

Hourly Pay Rate:  $128.19

What You’ll Do:

Assist in orthopedic surgeries such as joint replacements, fracture repairs, and other general orthopedic procedures

Support pre-op and post-op patient care, including casting, splinting, and DME application

Conduct clinic visits, managing a patient caseload of 20-25 patients daily

Support staff with medical procedures and patient assessments

Collaborate with surgical teams and provide operative assistance during procedures

Rounding on patients and providing clinical support during rounds and weekends as needed

What You Need:

Required:

MN license as Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner

NCCPA or PA certification (if applicable)

BLS certification

DEA and CSR registration

Minimum 1 year of orthopedic or surgical experience

Preferred:

Experience with OR assisting, joint injections, casting, or splinting

About the Assignment:
This position supports an orthopedic department within a healthcare facility serving adult and teenage patients, focusing on surgical procedures and post-op care. You will work in a dynamic environment supporting a comprehensive orthopedic service line, using EPIC Excellian EMR.
