Tree Trimmer Crew Foreperson- Union

Asplundh -  - Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate, and assign daily work for the crew after receiving orders from a General Foreperson/Supervisor;
Conduct field training/retraining and instruct crew on new or revised job units;
Enforce safe work practices per OSHA and company policy, and conduct safety training;
Discuss access and work details with property owners/customers and obtain permission for work;
Promote and maintain customer relations through effective completion of assigned work and appropriate crew conduct;
Maintain accurate records, timesheets, and reports related to crew performance and operations;
Control crew costs through effective use of people, methods, and equipment;
Provide reports on orders completed, units of work, crew time, and repairs to General Foreperson/utility representative;
Coordinate with customers, police, and fire departments for street or driveway closures and safety barriers;
Investigation of incidents and minor damage claims where delegated by General Foreperson;
Oversee equipment maintenance and repairs, and ensure tool/vehicle readiness;
Ensure DOT maintenance and inspection compliance for all required vehicles
