Mixer Apprentice

Twin City Staffing has an immediate opening for a mixer apprentice for a growing food manufacturing facility. In this role, you will execute precise batch recipes, verify raw ingredients, perform in-process quality checks, and operate mixing machinery. Location:

Buffalo, MN Wage: $21.00 – $23.00/hr. (Based on experience)

Hours:

1st Shift: 5:00 am – 3:00 pm, Monday – Thursday

Duties of the mixer apprentice:

  • Execute batch recipes, verify raw ingredient measurements, and maintain strict batch integrity
  • Perform setup, operational monitoring, and end-of-shift shutdown on industrial mixing equipment
  • Conduct in-process quality checks, track daily production yields, and partner with QC to resolve issues
  • Wear mandatory food safety PPE and assist with training team members on operational guidelines

Requirements of the mixer apprentice:

  • Minimum 2+ years of production experience in food manufacturing (mixing background preferred)
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and HACCP guidelines preferred
  • Proficiency in basic math for calculating ingredient formulas and yield tracking
  • Physical ability to lift up to 55 lbs. repeatedly and up to 65 lbs. occasionally
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
