- Provide on-site nursing care for adolescents and young adults; RN or LPN; float between Buffalo and Maple Grove with shift patterns (7:00 am–7:30 pm and 7:00 pm–7:30 am with every third weekend).
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs, documenting accurately in medical records.
- Evaluate medical concerns from residents and communicate with Nurse Practitioners and Physicians.
- Develop and implement treatment plans; provide direct care as prescribed.
- Monitor chronic health conditions, respiratory distress, and seizures; initiate timely interventions.
- Maintain medical records and logs; adhere to reporting and infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with Care Coordinators on medication management and refills.
- Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings to enhance patient care.
- Education:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a Nursing Degree. - Licensure:
Current RN licensure with the Minnesota State Board of Nursing. - Experience:
Healthcare experience preferred, especially with adolescents and/or young adults. - Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication; sound judgment in high-pressure scenarios. - Teamwork:
Positive attitude and commitment to collaborative care. - Tech
Skills:
Basic computer skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office and Electronic Health Records (EHR). - Crisis Management:
Ability to respond calmly in emergent situations. - Quality Focus:
Proactive focus on quality and accuracy.
- Pay range: $37 to $53 per hour depending on education and experience.
