As the Hospice On-Call Registered Nurse

What You'll Do
  • Respond to after-hours calls and urgent patient needs throughout the service area.
  • Complete emergency hospice visits to assess changes in condition and provide expert symptom management.
  • Deliver pain management, medication administration, wound care, and other comfort-focused nursing interventions.
  • Provide compassionate telephone support and education to patients, families, and caregivers.
  • Coordinate closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary hospice team to ensure continuity of care.
  • Complete accurate and timely EMR documentation.
What You'll Bring
  • Active Minnesota Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Previous hospice nursing experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience in home health, oncology, ICU, palliative care, or other high-acuity settings is highly valued.
  • Excellent assessment, critical thinking, and independent decision-making skills.
  • Outstanding communication and crisis management abilities.
  • Ability to work evenings, overnight hours, weekends, and holidays as part of a 7 On / 7 Off rotation.
