Technician's Assistant – Grantsville, UT

Pay From: $18.00 per hour

• Experienced Assistant Technician
• Must have go-getter attitude
• Willing to learn cable/telecom/ethernet field
• Willing to assist the site lead with many tasks
• Ability to work in small spaces
• Ability to lift 40+ Lbs
• Must have reliable transportation

• Will assist the site lead with different projects/tasks
• Provide excellent customer service always
• Installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of various cabling infrastructure
• Pull, route, and terminate various types of cables, including coaxial, Ethernet, and fiber optic
• Perform site surveys to determine the best installation route and method
• Terminate RJ45 via CAT5E/6 in accordance with industry standards
• Ensuring all cables are neatly routed, dressed, and bundled
• Installation of cabling support components such as j-hooks, cable racks, and innerduct
• Installation IT equipment such as routers, switches, cameras, wireless, etc.
• Conduct tests to ensure all newly installed cable systems and component devices are operational
• Troubleshoot device and/or cabling issues
• Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards during all installations
