Social Worker in Buffalo, MN

This full-time role begins August 24th and runs through December 23rd as maternity leave coverage. Your day begins at 7:15 AM and encompasses a standard 8-hour shift, allowing you to connect with students, collaborate with educators, and provide direct counseling and intervention. Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) required
• Valid state licensure or certification for school-based social work
• Previous experience working with school-aged children or adolescents is highly desired

• Empathy, cultural competence, and a collaborative mindset

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide social, emotional, and behavioral support to a caseload of approximately 50 students
• Conduct individual and small group counseling sessions
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create supportive learning environments
• Conduct assessments and facilitate crisis intervention as needed
• Assist with the development and implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school policies
