Accentuate Staffing is seeking an experienced Accountant to support an established technology company in Buffalo, NY. This role is hybrid 3 days in office and 2 days remote. This role is responsible for core accounting functions, including general ledger reconciliations, financial reporting, accounts receivable oversight, and compliance-related activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and administer accounts receivable processes
  • Conduct customer credit evaluations and establish new customer accounts
  • Administer and reconcile sales commission programs
  • Assist in the preparation and coordination of the annual budgeting process
  • Support periodic sales, insurance, and financial audits
  • Perform monthly general ledger account reconciliations
  • Reconcile monthly sales and use tax filings
  • Assist with month-end close activities
  • Conduct initial reviews of customer contracts
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
  • Minimum of two (2) years of relevant accounting experience
  • Strong working knowledge of accounting principles and the ability to apply them to business operations
  • High level of integrity with the ability to handle confidential information
  • Self-motivated professional who is dependable, organized, flexible, and proactive
  • Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to manage files, analyze data using spreadsheets and databases, and prepare presentations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong commitment to customer service and satisfaction
  • Solid mathematical and analytical skills
  • Ability to follow established policies, processes, and procedures
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
