Salary Range: $70,000 - $85,000 annually

Job Summary

Our client is seeking an Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, reconciliations, cash flow monitoring, internal controls, and audit preparation. This role will work closely with internal teams, customers, suppliers, auditors, banks, and other external partners to ensure financial transactions are accurate, timely, and compliant with company standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and record cash receipts and reconcile general ledger receipts to the cash receipts schedule.
  • Partner with customers to resolve invoicing issues and support timely payment collection.
  • Distribute accounts receivable statements to customers.
  • Maintain accurate customer master data, including purchase order and invoice information.
  • Assist with accounts payable and payroll to ensure transactions are recorded accurately and on time.
  • Support sales tax filing and related documentation.
  • Monitor cash flow reporting and assist with financial forecasting.
  • Support month-end close activities, including reconciliations and journal entries.
  • Assist with the preparation and analysis of monthly and quarterly financial statements and reports.
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and identify potential risks.
  • Update and maintain internal control narratives and documentation.
  • Support annual financial statement audits by preparing requested materials in a timely manner.
  • Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive financial and business information.
  • Promote sound accounting practices and comply with site and corporate requirements.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
  • 3-5 years of accounting experience preferred.
  • Experience with in an international manufacturing environment is preferred but not required.
  • Related accounting or bookkeeping experience under supervision will also be considered.
  • Experience working with customers, suppliers, banks, auditors, fiscal authorities, and other third‑party partners.
  • Strong understanding of general accounting and cost accounting principles and procedures.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • SAP or similar ERP system experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with sensitive information.
